Adrian Linwood Winstead

HENDERSON – Adrian Linwood Winstead, 88, of Weldon’s Mill Road, died Friday, June 6, 2025 at his home. Born March 8, 1937 in Vance County, to the late Mary Eunice Jackson Winstead and Percy Winstead, and was the widower of Patricia Anderson Winstead. He was the former co-owner of Winstead’s Radiator Repair Shop. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM at New Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the new Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Mr. Winstead is survived by three sons, John Winstead (Angie) of Henderson, Mark Winstead (Denise) of Youngsville, and Adrian Randolph Winstead (Angie) of Henderson; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Bernard Winstead, George Winstead and Lawrence Winstead; and three sisters, Brenda Ray, Emma Lou Woodard and Ellen Paynter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 2292 Ross Mill Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
