HENDERSON- Agnes Mae Lacks Bollinger Harris, 80, of 707 Hargrove Street, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at a local nursing home.Born in Halifax County, VA on October 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Heno Lacks and Dorothy Powell Lacks.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and member of Freedom Life Church of God.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Jeff Prewer at Sunset Gardens.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Ivey Lee Harris of the home; her daughter, Carol Ann Tant of Henderson; two sons, Steve Bollinger of Virginia and Cecil Bollinger of Henderson; two sisters, Evelyn Dickerson of Virginia and Betty Jane Bailey of Kittrell; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Deborah Roberson and Patricia Abbott; and three step-sons, Danny Lee Harris, Wayne Harris and Neil Harris. The family would like to give special thanks to her dear friend and caregiver Rose Edwards.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
