HENDERSON-Alan Dale Joyner, 47, a resident of 1261 Americal Road Lot 16 passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, from injuries received in an automobile accident.Born in Nash County on March 3, 1972 he was the son of the late Ronald West Joyner and Naomi Jobe Short.
Alan was employed with Variety Wholesale and as a Lead Shipper.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Clark Joyner of the home; two daughters, Crystal Lynn Joyner and Yasmene Clark both of Henderson; three sons, Alan Dale Joyner, Jr. of Florida, Anthony Thomas Joyner of Henderson and Justin Joyner of the home; eight grandchildren; and his step-father, Clyde "Bud" Short of Henderson.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie West Joyner.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church of God.
