LEXINGTON-Alda Hare Williams, age 66, a resident of Chestnut Ridge Road, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.Born on May 22, 1946 in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Herman Hare and Alda Grace Eldridge Hare.She was formerly an Inspector at Royal Home Fashions, and was a member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert Kelley.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by one daughter, Regina W. Estep of Asheville, NC; one son, Bobby Lee Williams, Jr. of Henderson; five brothers, Bill Hare, Charles Hare, Tommy Hare, an Dennis Hare all of Virginia Beach, VA and, Eddie Hare of Durham; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Williams, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Monday prior to the service from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.
