FUNERAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN POSTEDPONED UNITL THURSDAY ..........Alfred Larry Al Williams, age 70, a resident of 1834 N. Clearview Drive, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at his home.Born in Vance County on December 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Algie Buddy Williams and Luna Pendleton Williams.
Al was a retired Supervisor at the former Laurens Glass Company, and was a member of Freedom Life Church Of God for more than 30 years where he served as the Church Clerk.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Lewis Williams of the home; one daughter, Audrey Lynn Williams of Henderson; one son, D. C. Williamson (Lisa) of Epsom; three grandchildren, Justin Burr, Chance Williamson, and Cheyenne Williamson; two sisters, Patricia Williams Tharrington of Louisburg and Sherrill Williams Moss of Henderson; and one brother, Clyde Hartwell Williams of Spokane, WA.
The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God.At other times they will be at the home.
