Alice Scott Rollins

HENDERSON-Alice Scott Rollins, 94, a resident of Henderson, died Monday, October 31, 2022, in a local nursing home. Born in Warren County on January 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Donald Scott and Minnie Davis Scott, and was the widow of Dr. Charles D. Rollins. Mrs. Rollins received her Masters Degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1953 and was a retired anesthetist at Maria Parham Hospital. She was a member of The Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Ridgeway where a memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, Francis O’Rourke Rollins of Helotes, Texas, Laney Charles Rollins of Chapel Hill and Eugene M. Rollins of Evans, Georgia; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Chapel of The Good Shepherd in Ridgeway, PO Box 70, Ridgeway, NC 27570.
