Alton Eugene Bell, Sr.

Born on August 22, 1927 in Naples, Maine, he was the son of the late Lawrence A. Bell and Norine Smith Bell.Al proudly served in the United States Army for twenty-three and one half years, serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his retirement from the Army he was the owner and operator of A.B. Ceramic Tile Co.He was a member at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church, aformer Shriner and a member ofMt. Scott AF & AM Lodge 540 in Laughton, Oklahoma and a 32 degree Mason.
A memorial services with Masonic Honors will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 2 PM at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Ralph Newton and Arthur Byrd.
He is survived by two sons, Alton E. Bell, Jr. of Woodstock, Georgia and Nicky R. Bell of Kittrell;one step-daughter, Gail Oakley and husband, Donald of Hildebran, NC; two brothers, Joe Bell of Brownsville, New Jersey, and David Bell of Clements, Florida; one sister, Ada Rollins of Naples, Maine; and four step-grandchildren, Lynwood Smith, Travis Smith, Russell Oakley, and Cody Oakley.
The family will receive friends prior to theservice on Sunday from 1:30 until 2 PM at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
