BULLOCK-Alvin Bryant Pegram, Jr., age 86, a resident of 2584 Vaughan Road, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Croasdaile Village in Durham.Born in Vance County on September 3, 1931, he was the son of the late Alvin Bryant Pegram, Sr. and Mary Patterson Pegram.
Mr. Pegram proudly served his county in the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard.He was a retired barber and a member of Carey Baptist Church since 1946.
To honor his wishes, a private burial was held Saturday morning June 2, 2018 in the Carey Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Blackwell Pegram of Bullock, one daughter, Cheryl Pegram Miller of Durham; one son, WilliamBryant Billy Pegram of Hillsborough;his half-sister, Gay Perry of Raleigh; and two grandchildren, Logan Pegram of Hillsborough, and Angie Phillips of Durham
