HENDERSON-Amber Lynn Ivey, age 20, a resident of 1155 Glebe Road, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Duke Medical Center.Born in Durham, NC on April 26, 1993, she was the daughter of Bryan Dean of Burlington and Tammy Ivey Ray Parrish of Henderson.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 5, 2013, at Island Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her step-father, Michael Parrish of Henderson; one brother, Peyton Ray of Henderson; one step-brother, Jesse Parrish of Henderson; one step-sister, Jada Parrish of Henderson; her maternal grandmother, Jewel Ivey of Henderson; her maternal grandfather, Charles Ivey of Henderson; her paternal grandmother, Betty Dean of Henderson;her uncles, Chad Ivey, Gabe Ivey, Adam Ivey, and Josh Ivey all of Henderson; and her aunt, Karen Hendley of Oxford.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Amber Lynn Ivey Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
