HENDERSON- Andy Lee Hoyle, 74, of Lindy Lane, died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home. Born October 30, 1948, he was the son of the late D.Y. Hoyle and Shirley Greenway Hoyle. Andy was a member of Gillburg United Methodist Church and formerly owned and operated Hoyles Tire and Axle with his brother. He was a member of Franklin Gun Club for many years, an avid fox and deer hunter and also the owner of Hoyle’s Puppy Preserve. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Will Breedlove. Burial will follow in the Hoyle Family Cemetery. Andy loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much, spending time with them brought him great joy and happiness. Andy is survived by his wife, Shirley Vick Hoyle of the home; two daughters, Melissa Lassiter and husband, Thomas, Michelle Jackson and husband, James, all of Henderson; four grandchildren, Scott Perkinson and wife, Courtney, Todd Perkinson and wife, Morgan, Harley Owen, Dusty Owen and wife, Jessica; five great grandchildren, Kolbie Perkinson, Kolton Perkinson, Jr. Perkinson, Drake Perkinson, Paisley Perkinson; a sister, Linda Hayes and husband, Ronnie; a brother, Jimmy Hoyle; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Hoyle and a sister-in-law, Violet Hoyle. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Perkinson, Todd Perkinson, Dusty Owen, Curtis Vick, Jeff Hayes, Lane Hayes. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Vance County Animal Shelter, 1243 Brodie Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
