HENDERSON- Tabitha Ann Parrish Brame Franklin, 86, of Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of Kelly Road, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Wake Medical Center. Born October 12, 1935 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Parrish and Meda Faulkner Parrish. Ann’s love of her family was her greatest joy and she enjoyed traveling later in life. One of her favorite activities was going to yard sales on weekends with her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM by Dr. Gene Wood. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Brame Harris (George) of High Point; her son, Herbie Brame (Cheryl) of Oxford; a brother, Lee Roy Parrish of Henderson; a sister, Mary Susan Parrish Norwood of Providence; four grandchildren, Jenny Jones (Bryan), Susan Fletcher (Michael), Adam Brame (Eve), Andrew Brame (Brittany); four great grandchildren, Lakyn Fletcher, Reese Fletcher, Olivia Jones and Harris Jones. Ann was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Franklin Brame and Melvin Dorsey Franklin; and her siblings, Betty Newman, Joseph Parrish, Henry Parrish, Docie Gafford and Elijah Parrish. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church. Serving as active pallbearers will be Adam Brame, Andrew Brame, Keith Newman, Louis "Bo" Parrish, Gary Freshour and Chuck Parrish.
