HENDERSON-Mary Ann McIntyre, 95, a resident of Henderson, died Saturday, July 21, 2018, in a local nursing home.Born on April 28, 1923 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Hines McIntyre and Lucille Greene McIntyre.
Ann was a retired bookkeeper at the former Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 pm at St. James Catholic Church by Father Thomas Davis.Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. A reception will be held following the burial at St. James Catholic Church.
Serving as pall bearers will be Tom Sheridan, Jack Richardson, Jorge Armhold, Tony Accetullo Lennie Swanson, and Don Jay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Catherine Lucille "Polly" McIntyre.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 pm prior to the service on Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church.
