Ann Owen Vanzandt

KITTRELL – Ann Owen VanZandt, 56, of Dick Smith Rd, died Monday, April 6, 2026 at her home. Born August 19, 1969 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mary Jane Abbott Owen and Forrest Dallis Owen, and was the widow of William Marshall “Billy” VanZandt.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.

Ann is survived by one brother, Forrest Dallis Owen, Jr. and wife, Donna of Mint Hill; two nieces, Kristen Owen Compton and husband William, and Holly Owen LiVolsi; one nephew, Kevin Dallis Owen; one great niece, Brianna Compton; and four great nephews, Mason Compton, Walker Compton, Joseph LiVolsi, and Dominic LiVolsi.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother James Royster “Jimmy” Owen.
