HENDERSON-Annie Mae Stainback Fuller, age 97, a former resident of Jennette Avenue, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, in a local nursing home.Born on August 12, 1917 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Murtie Lee Stainback and Nora Mae Ayscue Stainback, and was the widow of Jasper Clair Fuller.Mrs. Fuller was the oldest living member of New Sandy Creek Baptist Church where she formerly served as the Secretary in the Jr. Sunday School Department for more than 40 years.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Timothy J. Burgess.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Jean F. Collier and Frances F. Garrett and husband, Andrew all of Henderson; a foster son, Allan Faulkner of Danville, VA; three sisters, Polly Averette of Knightdale, Mary White of Durham, and Elaine Reavis of Henderson; one brother, George Stainback of Henderson; three grandchildren,Donna C. Phelps and husband, Jerry,Mitzi C. Parrott and husband, Ronnie, and Wendy C. Hoggeand husband, Larry all of Henderson; four great grandchildren, Whitney Abbott, Jordan Hogge, Emma Hogge, and Will Parrott; two great grandchildren, Zoey Ivey and Jeremy Ivey.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a foster son, Eddie C. Faulkner; her son-in-law, Richard Collier; three sisters, Nell S. Hope, Pearl S, Moss, and Shirley S. Inscoe;three brothers, Carl Stainback, Willie Lee Stainback, and Milton Stainback; one granddaughter, Shannon Elaine Ellington; and one great grandson, Jasper Parrott.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7: 00 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Betty Collier at 115 W. Jennette Avenue.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Henry Bryan, Bill Lloyd, David Barnett, Troy Fuller, J. W. Fuller, Ken White, Mike White, Lee Inscoe, Carlton Moss, Donnie Reavis, Gary Stainback, Wayne Stainback, Bradley Averette, David Smith and Wayne Ellington.

The family would also like to acknowledge the love and care she received from her special caregiver Elizabeth Ellis and the Senior Citizens Nursing Home Staff.
