Annie King Harp

HENDERSON-Annie Blanche King Harp, age 75, a resident of 1841 Garland Street, died Thursday, June 2, 2016.Born on December 12, 1940 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Raymond King and Mary Jacobs King, and was the widow of Hartwell R. Harp.
Annie was a homemaker and a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Getting Up For Jesus Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3pm at South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.Burial will follow in the Fuller Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Jamie Darlene Boone of Henderson; one son, Bruce Harp and wife, Laurie of Henderson; one sister, Peggy Perdue to Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 until 3pm at the South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church.At other times they will be at the home of Bruce and Laurie Harp 29 Abbott Road.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Wiggins, Keith Boone, Justin Harp, Josh Sizemore, R.C. Creech, Ludie Creech and Greg Tapson.
