Annie Louise Day Faucette, 85, of Coble Blvd., died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Duke University Medical Center.Born in Person County on September 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Day and Mollie Bowes Day and the widower of Jack Faucette.She was retired from Harriett and Henderson Yarns.She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 2:00PM at Sunset Gardens by Rev. Wilbert Horton.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon H. Sanford (Malcolm) of Henderson; four grandchildren, Christopher Sanford, Amanda Gilleland, Jeremy Weary and Hillary Harris; four great grandchildren, Kaeli Gilleland, Hayley Gilleland, Gabryel Sanford and Christian Riggs; four sisters, Edith Hatcher of Roxboro, Frances Thompson of Snow Hill, Clara Duncan of Roxboro and Maryann Shotwell of Burlington; and a brother, Jerry Day of Roxboro.In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Hilton Harris and a daughter, Carolyn Weary.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:15pm until 2:00pm at the cemetery and at other times at the home of Sharon and Malcolm Sanford, 231 D.Y. Hoyle Lane, Henderson, NC 27537.
