Annie Mae Williams

HENDERSON-Annie Mae Rose Turner Williams, age 83, a resident of 198 Vicksboro Road, died Friday, July 27, 2012, in a local nursing home.Born in Vance County on January 23,1929, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Paul Rose and Mattie Dickerson Rose.
She was a former Buyer for Belksand retired from Americal. She was a member of City Road United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and sang in the choir.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at City Road United Methodist Church by the Rev. Heather Burdick and the Rev. Dennis Peay.Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Worth Bob Williams of the home; one daughter, Carolyn Davis Harton and husband, J. C. of Henderson; three grandchildren, Lisa H. Manning, Stacey H. Grissom, and Tracey H. Hilton; ten step children including Kimberly Williams Ellis, Scott Williams, TY Williams, and Bradley Williams all of Henderson, and four great grandchildren, Logan Manning, Blake Hilton, Macey Grissom, and Sommer Kempson; five step grandchildren, Courtney W. Kiger, Morgan A. Williams, Ashley H. Williams, McKenzie L. Williams, and Samatha L. Williams; and two step great grandchildren, Alexis D. Kiger, and Aubrey N. Kiger. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Tom Jack Davis and Andrew C. Bird Turner; her sisters, Rebecca Rose Frazier, Hattie Rose, and Edith Chambers; and her brother, T. P. Rose, Jr.
The family will receive friends Saturday at the home of Carolyn andJ. C. Harton at 632 Parham Road.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Brad Williams, Scott Williams, Ty Williams, Robert Ellis, Bill Atkinson, and David Fairey.
