Annie was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM by Rev. Johnny Yount.Burial will follow in New Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Annie B. is survived by four daughters, Betty Wright and husband Danny, of Henderson, Shelia Newman and husband, Russell of Henderson, Brenda Daniels and husband, Phillip of Arlington, TX, and Peggy Moss and husband, Mike of Henderson; a son, Wannie Bob Coghill and wife, Trudy of Apex; eleven grandchildren, Deales "Dee" J. Coghill, Kay Keller, Jeff Coghill, Melany Elwell, Dana Fields, Jaime Bradley, Kelly Howard, Stephanie Gillis, Brandon Daniels, Sonia Gupton, and Sandy Garrett; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; her long-time caregiver and friend, Trish Talley; and caregivers, Martha Stainback and Janice Boyd.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Marshall Lee Coghill, Tommy Coghill and J.D. Coghill; two grandsons, Cameron Wayne Newman and Tommy Wayne Newman; and one great-grandson, Drew Elwell.
The family will receive friends at her home and following the service in the Family Life Center at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Allen Hedgepeth, Andrew Coghill, Milo Cortez, Richard Sanford, Sr., Richard Sanford, Jr., Marion Pergerson, David Askew, and Jeffrey Coghill.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, c/o Maria Ellis, 281 Garrett Road, Henderson, NC27537.
