KITTRELL-Annie Irene Foster Robertson, 80, of Kittrell, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 24, 2023. Annie was born Dec. 7, 1942 in Haw River, NC to Willard and Helen Robertson Foster. She married the love of her life, Thurston Earl Robertson, Sr. on Saturday, June 27, 1959. From this beautiful union that spanned over six decades, a legacy of love began that includes four children, seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Known for her dazzling smile, infectious laugh, and beautiful brown eyes, Annie will be remembered for many things including her love of God and family above all, kicking off her shoes and dancing to good music anytime anywhere, and her delicious fried cornbread. Holding various positions during her lifetime to help support her family, Annie’s most beloved and important roles were always Momma and MawMaw. She loved to take care of “her babies”, and later in life being able to see and hold those same babies’ babies was what brought her true joy and happiness. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her soulmate of 64 years, Thurston Earl Robertson, Sr.; her adoring children: Thurston Earl “Jay” Robertson, Jr., Phillip Lee Robertson (Carolyn), and son-in-law, Dennis Gary Wright, Sr.; her devoted grandchildren: Jill Wright Clayton (Steven), Jason Earl Robertson (Amanda), Dennis Gary Wright, Jr. (Connie), Brittany Augusta Robertson, and Jillan Robertson Smith (Jimmy); her precious great-grandchildren: Bradley Tyler Wright, Breanna Robertson Elliott (Blake), Shyanne Nichole Robertson (Cherie), Austin Eugene Robertson, Gerald Taylor Tuck, III, McKenzie Lynn Robertson, Chloe Leanne Clayton, Jason Earl Robertson, Jr., Brian James Robertson, Ethan Earl Pittman, Trent Edward Robertson, Hayden Jolene Wright, Paisley Jane Smith, Dennis Gary “Trey” Wright, III, Logan James Smith, Augusta Rose Davis, and Tyler Eugene Robertson; her sweet great-great-grandchild, Madilyn Renee Elliott; her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, and a multitude of friends that affectionately called her “Mrs. Annie”. What a joyous Homegoing she must have had, met at the gates of Heaven by her own precious parents, Willard and Helen Foster; her beautiful daughters, Linda Robertson Wright and Phyllis Robertson Penn; two beloved grandsons, Thurston Eugene “Gene” Robertson and Gerald Taylor “J.T.” Tuck, Jr.; and all of her dear siblings: Willard Foster, Dean Foster, and Jean Johnson. What a glorious day it surely was! Annie’s family will receive friends at J.M. White Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. , and will be at her house on the hill at all other times.
