Anthony Meril Boone

HENDERSON-Anthony Meril "Tony" Boone, age 52, a resident of 1055 Eastern Blvd., died Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on January 10, 1961 in
Vance County, he was the son of Mary Kittrell Boone Parrish of Henderson, and the late James
Cleveland Boone. He was medically retired and was a former employee of the Waffle and Pancake House, and was a member of East Side Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Aubrey Florence.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father, Furham Parrish of the home; one brother, Eugene Parrish and wife, Gidget of Henderson; and his caregivers, Sharon Foster and Darlene Boone.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Denise B. Harp; and two brothers, Larry Dale Boone and Dennis James Boone.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of his mother at 1045 Eastern Blvd.
Serving as active pall bearers will be Daniel Parrish, Preston Parrish, Justin Harp, Keith Boone, Ashley Boone, Robert West, Lennie Riggan, and Robert Roberson.
