Antonio Jaimes Duran, 30, a resident of Tulip Drive, died Monday, March 14, 2022. Born on May 10, 1991 in Durham County, he was the son of Candido Granillo Fernandez and Alma Campbell Granillo. He was employed as a truck driver with Evans Brothers Transport. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church by the Rev. Henry Abbott. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kayla Elizabeth Padgett Duran of the home; two daughters, Aurora Duran and Nelly Duran; two sons, Casper Duran and Kyle Abbott all of the home; six brothers, twin brother, Juan Carlos Duran and wife Anna. Enrigue Granillo, and Marcus Allgood and wife Jaime of Henderson, David Terry of Oxford, Bobby Terry, Jr. of Coco Beach, Florida, and Jashae Williams of Durham; one uncle, Robert Carey and wife, Penny of Scottsburg, Virginia and their son, Dakota Carey of Richmond, Virginia; four nieces, Liah Terry, Kai Terry, Marley Rae Duran, and Leslie Allgood. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Mary Nell Todaro; cousin, Robert Lynn “Dusty” Carey; and his grandmother-in-law, Dorothy Draper. The family will receive friends Saturday night form 6:00 until 8:00 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home.
