Ashley Christine Coggsdale, age 18, a resident of 378 Cedar Rock Lane, died Sunday, May 8, 2011, from injuries received in an automobile accident.Born on June 23, 1992 in Vance County, she was the daughter of Shelton H. Coggsdale, Jr. and Stephanie Coghill Coggsdale of Henderson.Ashley was a Senior at Western Vance High School and was also employed through Staffmark with Revlon.She was a former employee of Skippers Bar-B-Q.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 4:30 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by one brother, Tristan Allen Coggsdale of the home; her maternal grandparents, Michael Allen Coghill and Sarah Renn Coghill of Henderson; her paternal grandparents, Thurston Wayne Dickerson and Jane Dickerson of Henderson; her maternal great grandmothers, Dorothy White Renn and Emily Louise Coghill both of Henderson; and her paternal great grandmother, Christine Dickerson of Henderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:30 pm at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home of Mike and Sarah Coghill at 98 NC 39 Loop Rd.
