HENDERSON- Barbara Bishop Collins, 90, of Lake Road, died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Burke County on August 2, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Owen Hunter Bishop and Kathleen Michaux Bishop and the widow of Harry Collins.She was a homemaker and member of The Church of The Holy Innocents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her son, Owen Mitchell "Mitch" Collins and wife, Rachel, of Henderson; and two grandchildren, Ashley Macon Pearsall and Mitchell Edward Collins.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marianne Collins and a sister, Eugenia Bishop Welfare.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mitch Collins, 408 Aycock Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
