Barbara Pendergrass Evans

HENDERSON- Barbara Ann Pendergrass Evans, age 66, a resident of Ridge Circle Rd., died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Wake Medical Center. Born in Vance Co. on March 29, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Zedia Medlin Pendergrass and Sidney Pendergrass. Barbara was retired from Americal and Revlon. She was a member of the South Henderson Church of God and was a member of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon at the South Henderson Church of God by the Rev. Gary Harper. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by her husband, William Ronald "Ronnie" Evans; three daughters, Tammy Evans Allison (Thomas) and Shannon Evans McKinney (Corey) all of Henderson and Stephanie Evans Estep (Kelly) of Halifax Va.; one sister Shirley P. Lively of Knoxville TN; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday night from 7 until 830pm at the J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Estep, Patrick Shaver, Jerry Allen, Charles Allen, Vernon Pendergrass, Johnny Jones, Macon Abbott, David Hilliard, and Pete Collier.
