Henderson-Barbara Ruth Lewis, age 64, a resident of 309 Walter Bowen Road, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at her home.Born in Mullins, South Carolina on November 20, 1949, she was the daughter of Ernestine Johnson Lewis of Youngsville and the late Marvin Lewis, Sr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 2 pm in the J. M. White Funeral by the Rev Frank Sossamon.At other times they will be at the home at 309 Walter Bowen Road.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Teresa Brame of the home; two sons, Keith Brame of Wake Forest and Jason Humphries of Henderson; four sisters, Brenda Lewis Autrey and Betty Lewis Brogden both of Creedmoor, Jeanette Lewis Hicks of Youngsville, and Geraldine Lewis of Wake Forest; two brothers, Roger Lewis of Oxford and Marvin Lewis, Jr. of Youngsville; six grandchildren, Billy Ray Bowes, Jonathan Thomas Bowes, Rachel Michelle Bowes, Haley Humphries, Chloe Humphries, and Natalee Humphries; and three great grandchildren, Tryne Bowes, Drayden Bowes, and Tristen Bowes.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Lewis.
