Barbara Haithcock Serbin

Barbara Haithcock "Bobbie" Serbin, age 65, a resident of 436 Tower Lane, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Duke Regional Hospital.Born in Warren County on December 20, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Norman Ivey Haithcock, Sr. and Lillian O’Dey Haithcock.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Westwood Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Cleveland Harrison.Burial will follow in the Haithcock Family Cemetery in Warrenton.
She is survived by her husband, Anastacio Serbin of the home; two daughters, Marie Stewart and Erica Easterling of Henderson; one son, Thomas Serbin of Henderson; three sisters, Patricia Fanion of Oxford, Ruth Hudson of Henderson, and Jean Williams of South Hill, Va; three brothers, Norman Haithcock, Jr. of Oxford, Johnnie Haithcock, and Tommy Haithcock of Henderson; and five grandchildren.She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Escamilla.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:30 until 2 pm at Westwood Pentecostal Holinesss Church.At other times they will be at the home of Erica Easterling,750 Hoyletown Road, Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Barbara Serbin Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC27536.
