HENDERSON- Beatrice Ellen Pearce Harp, 86, of Henderson, died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.Born May 24, 1935 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Pearce and Dorothy Tant Pearce and was the widow of Wiley Harp.She enjoyed animals, gardening, and spending time with her family.Also, she was a kind, caring, loving wife and mother.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Jeff Prewer.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
She is survived by three sons, Curtis Harp (Wendy), Timothy Harp (Tammy), Steven Harp (Kristy); one daughter, Teresa Padgett; eight grandchildren, Curt Harp, Andy Harp, Joshua Harp, Andrea Padgett, Timothy Harp, Jr., Felicia Harp Yanez, Chris Harp, Taylor Harp; eleven great grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home.
Serving as pall bearers will be Curt Harp, Tim Harp, Jr., Chris Harp, Andy Harp, Cody Harp, Sam McDaniel IV, and Angel Yanez, Jr.
