HENDERSON- Mrs. Betty Holloway Roberson, 82, of Glebe Road, died Monday, September 12, 2022 at her daughter’s home. Born September 6, 1940 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late James Lee Holloway and Bernice Grissom Holloway and was the widow of Gerald Zeb Roberson. She was retired from AAA Gas Company where she worked as a bookkeeper for more than 35 years. Betty was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Presbyterian Women and sang in the choir. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Dale Roberson. Burial will follow in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri R. Allen and husband, Danny of Henderson; her son, Gerald Dale Roberson and wife, Linda of Oxford; five grandchildren Peyton R. Satterwhite and husband, Rob, Watson Roberson, Collins A. LaRue and husband, Travis, Avery Allen and Janson Allen; and three great grandchildren, Caleb Satterwhite, Hudson Satterwhite and Alex LaRue. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM at J.M. White Funeral Home and at other times at her home, 1685 Glebe Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
