Beverly Fuller Journegan

RALEIGH- Beverly Fuller Journegan, 75, of Madiera Court, passed away after a seven year struggle with Primary Progressive Aphasia. Beverly was a loving wife and mother of two wonderful daughters. Born July 17, 1948 in Henderson, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Lyda Voils Fuller. She received her degree from Averett College and worked for Wachovia Bank for 36 years. On March 5, 1969 she married Wayne Journegan. Together they raised their two daughters, Jennifer Langston (Kevin) and Kristi Penny (Brad). Beverly had a love of family and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach and mountains with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and shared her many handwritten recipes with family and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Henderson, NC by Rev. George Loveland. In addition to her husband and her children, Beverly is survived by her brother, Joey; her sister, Cindy; her grandchildren, Courtney and Matthew; and her great-grandchildren, Hudson and Andrew. The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
