Billy Jewel Grimsley, age 61, a resident of 641 Pine Ridge Road, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at his home.Born in Robeson County on September 18, 1949, he was the son of the late Kager Grimsley and Bessie Simmons Grimsley.He was the owner and operator of B. J. Grimsley Trucking Company.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. George Williams.Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by one son, Keith Grimsley of Henderson; one daughter, Kristin Grimsley of Clayton; one sister, Elsie Cannady of Lillington; and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Grimsley and Larry Grimsley.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00 until 8:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.At other times they will be at the home at 641 Pine Ridge Road.
