HENDERSON-Billy Paul Hunt, age 71, a resident of 710 Moody Road, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born on January 21, 1943 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Chauncey and Grace Hunt.
He was a graduate of the University Of Florida and received his Masters Degree from Duke University.He was a retired math and science teacher in Waynesboro, Virginia and also taught at Warren County High School.Mr. Hunt was a member of South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Stepping Up For Jesus Sunday School Class.
A memorial service will be held Thursday night at 7 pm in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Frank Sossamon.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Smith Hunt of the home; one daughter, Tiffany Campbell of Waynesboro, Virginia; one step-son, Ronnie L. Owens of Durham; and one granddaughter, Kadynce Grace Campbell.
