Bobbie Kay Williams Deans

HENDERSON- Bobbie Kay Williams Deans, 78, of Ross Mill Road, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at UNC Rex Health. Born September 9, 1947 in New Hanover County, she was the daughter of the late Nellie Elizabeth Lowe Williams and James Alvin Williams and was the widow of James Elton Deans, Sr. She retired from the North Carolina State Employee’s Credit Union where she was a supervisor. Kay was a member of Plank Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Methodist Women and the Senior Circle.

To honor her wishes, no services are planned.

Kay is survived by two daughters, Pamela Gregory Jackson and husband, Gavin of Henderson and Shannon Deans Franks and husband, Gary of Garner; a son, James Elton Deans, Jr. and wife, Donna of Henderson; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
