Bobby Lynn Keaton, age 58, a resident of 1355 Club Pond Road, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Springhill, LA on July 20, 1955, he was the son of Norma Louise Peyor Beatty of Henderson and the late Ralph Alfred Keaton.He was retired from the US Navy serving in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars.A private burial will be held by the family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carrie Bender Keaton of Chesapeake, VA: four daughters, Amie Keaton and Amanda Keaton of Jacksonville, FL, Leslie Keaton of Chesapeake, VA, and Jessica Keaton of Virginia Beach, VA; one step-son, Mark Bender of Carrollton, VA; one sister, Tawny Steelman of Texas; two brothers, Carl Keaton of Houston, TX and Max Keaton and wife Sylvia "Goldie" of Henderson; one half-brother, Luther Beatty of Henderson and one half-sister, Christine Beatty of Henderson; his grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 2:00 until 3:30 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 914, Henderson, NC27563.
