HENDERSON-Bobby Wayne West, Jr., age 48, a resident of 218 Kirby Lane, died Friday, May 26, 2017 at his home.Born on September10, 1968 in Vance County, he was the son of Annette Reed Dinwiddie of Elkin, and the late Bobby Wayne West, Sr. He was medically retired from Mastec and was a member of Freedom Life Church Of God.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:30 AM in Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Jeff Prewer.
In addition to his mother, he is survived two sons, Bobby Wayne West, III of Henderson and Christopher Andrew Ruppert of Raleigh; two daughter, Amber West Vance of Henderson and Courtney West Toliver of Henderson; one brother, Anthony Paul West of Elkin,; and one sister, Crystal Lynn Sparks of Elkin; seven grandchildren; his fiancee, Denise Simmons of Henderson.; and the mother of his children, Tammy Brake West.The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:30 until 2 pm at Freedom Life Church Of God.
