Bobby Lawrence Wiggins

HENDERSON-Bobby Lawrence Wiggins, 91, a resident of Old Epsom Road, died Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born on November 17, 1934 in Durham County, he was the son of the late Lillie Mable Carden Wiggins and Alfred Walter Wiggins and was the widower of Florence Owens Wiggins. He was retired from the former Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc. and attended Unity Baptist Church.

Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday December 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Calvin Hedgepeth.

He is survived by one daughter, Eva Jane Lassiter (Mike) of Henderson; one son, William Allen Voyles of Roxboro; three grandchildren, Kelly West, Phillip Wayne Lassiter, and William Allen “A.J.” Voyles, Jr.; and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mable Virginia Inscoe, Annie Gupton, Peggy Clapton, and Violet “Kat” Collier; and three brothers, William Wiggins, Vernon Wiggins, and Joe Wiggins.

The family will receive friends following the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
