Bonnie Edwards Buhrmester

HENDERSON-Bonnie Rose Edwards Buhrmester, age 68, a resident of 209 Twelve Oaks Lane, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.Born in Vance County on April 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Louis Edwards and Ada Hoyle Edwards.Mrs. Buhrmester was a homemaker and a former member of Gillburg United Methodist Church.In 1964 she married William Robert Buhrmester and went with him to Fontainbleau, France, and in 1968 to Karlsruhe, Germany and Camp Zama, Japan in 1973.They later returned to the United States and lived in the Washington, DC area before retiring to Vance County.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the J. M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Calvin Dickinson.Burial will follow in the Hoyle Family Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, William Robert Buhrmester of the home; two daughters, Bonnie Buhrmester-Papa and husband Anthony and Alta Rose Buhrmester-Harper and husband Bryon both of Henderson; three sisters, Thelma Augusta Newman and Sandra Gerldine Effinger and husband Louis both of Henderson, and Barbara Jane Jarrell of Waynsville, NC.
The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 10 until 11 am at J. M. White Funeral home.
