WARRENTON-Bonnie Sue Johnston Griffin, 57, a resident of 344 Airport Road, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Duke University Hospital.Born on July 12, 1961 in Warren County, she was the daughter of Lucy Wilson Johnston Mills of Youngsville and the late Julian Johnston.Bonnie was employed at Walgreens in Warrenton where she was the Assistant Manager.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home in Henderson by the Rev. Johnny Yount.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, J. C. Griffin of the home; one sister Pam Johnston Southerland of Louisburg; two brothers, Hunt Johnston of Louisburg and Gus Johnston of Youngsville; four step-daughters, Vickie Griffin of Oak Island, Algah G. Bostic of Franklinton, Jai G. Riggs of Bahama, and Brittany Griffin of Warrenton; one step-son, Gilbert Howell of Pikesville; seven step-grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
