HOLLY SPRINGS-Bonnie Holloway Tarrant, 81, a resident of Holly Springs died Thursday, June 8, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Born on January 17, 1942 in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Norman D. Holloway, Sr. and Lois Draper Holloway. Bonnie was a wonderful, caring, wife, mother and grandmother. She had many talents, including sewing, cross stitching, gardening, and volunteering for numerous charities and organizations. She loved animals, (especially her rabbits) traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be missed greatly by her family and all who knew her. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of J. M. White Funeral Home by Rev. Johnny Yount. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens. She is survived by her husband, James Green Tarrant, Jr.; two daughters, Deborah J. Dinwiddie (Frank) of Manteo and Catherine T. Puluso (Joe) of Apex; four grandchildren, Christopher Dinwiddie (Laine), Kate Dinwiddie, Jacob Puluso, Nicholas Puluso; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jeddine Fogleman; and one brother, Norman D. Holloway, Jr. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at J. M. White Funeral Home.
