HENDERSON-Brenda Walser Beck, 75, a resident of Henderson, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the William M. Dunlap Hospice Center in Raleigh.Born on October 7, 1942 in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Gray Walser and Elizabeth Jane Myers Walser.
Brenda retired as Director of Admissions at Vance-Granville Community College, and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James G. "Jim" Beck of the home; one brother, Donald Walser of Lake Wylie; two nieces, Wendy Walser and Julie Walser; and one nephew, Gray Walser.
No services are currently planned.A private burial will be held in Lexington, NC.
