CLARKSVILLE- Cale Thornton Moody, 54, of Ponderosa Lane, died Friday, July 12, 2024 at Clarksville Health and Rehab. Born October 11, 1969 in Vance County, he was the son of Rose Brewer Moody of Clarksville and the late John Albert Moody. Cale was a member of Rock Spring Baptist Church. He was a former Townsville Volunteer Fireman and former member of State Line Hunting Club. While employed he held various positions at Roses, Revlon and Eastern Minerals and worked on the family farm for many years. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Gary Brummitt and Rev. Cameron Bailey. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Mark Moody and wife, Tracey of Clarksville, and Gerald Moody and wife, Kim of Townsville; his niece, Kaitlyn M. Milstein and husband, Justin and his nephew, Seth Moody; a great-nephew, Bryce Milstein, a great-niece, Carson Milstein; two aunts, Betty Moody and Jane Wright; and two uncles, Charles Moody and Roger McKinney. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Rock Spring Baptist Church; and at other times at the home, 25 Ponderosa Lane, Clarksville, VA 23927. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Moody, Justin Milstein, Will Peeden, Tony Moody, Jeremy Moody and Bryant Green. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Townsville VFD, P.O.
