Calvin Llewellyn Falkner

HENDERSON-Calvin Llewellyn Falkner, 89, formerly of Azalea Drive, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, in a local nursing home.Born in Vance County on December 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Horace Eugene and Lonie Nelson Falkner and was the widower of Margie Falkner.He was a Veteran of the United States Army.Calvin was a member of First United Methodist Church of Henderson and retired from the former A & P Grocery Store.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by the Rev. Terry Huffines. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
He is survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was preceded in deathby his daughter, Debney Falkner; step-son, Billy Parham; brothers, Horace Falkner and Nelson Pete Falkner; and a sister, Ernestine Wilson.
The family will receive friends following the service on Tuesday at the cemetery.
