Cara Burrows Gill

HENDERSON- Cara Ann Burrows Gill, 77, of Warrenton Road, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Maria Parham Health.Born in Warren County on September 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Milton Ray Burrows and Burnell Harton Burrows.Mrs. Gill was retired from Revlon and was a member of Carey Baptist Church.
A private funeral service will be held Sunday at Carey Baptist Church by Rev. Matt Cowan and Dr. Al James.
Surviving are her husband, James "Jimmy" Edward Gill, Jr., of the home; a daughter, Donna Ann Gill of Henderson; two sons, Allen Todd Gill of Henderson and Gregory Lewis Gill of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alexander, David, Gregory and Gabrielle; two great-grandchildren, Conner and Camille; and a brother, Lee Burrows of Norlina.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Ray Burrows.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dale Fleming, Denny Burrows, Art Wright, Tom Peoples, Randy Hoyle and Bill Gardner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carey Baptist Church, PO Box 637, Henderson, NC 27536.
Everyone is asked to observed COVID-19 guidelines by wearing appropriate face coverings and social distancing.
