Carl Steven Renn

HENDERSON- Carl Steven “Steve” Renn, 81, of Club Pond Road, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Duke Regional Hospital. Born April 15, 1943 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Clara Abbott Renn and Carl Cheatham Renn and was the widower of Peggy Williams Renn. He was a retired construction foreman. Steve loved to spend time with his family, grandkids, and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 am in the New Sandy Creek Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. George Williams. Steve is survived by his son Jeff Renn and wife, Jamee of Henderson; his daughter, Debbie Renn of Henderson; three grandchildren, Ashley Miller and husband Greg, Katie Parrish, and Bradley Faulkner; five great grandchildren and his brother, Butch Renn and wife, Ruthie of Henderson. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Renn. The family will receive friends at the home of Jeff and Jamee Renn and following the service at the cemetery.
