Carl Arnold Varker

HENDERSON- Carl Arnold Varker, 66, of Park Avenue, died Sunday, April 28, 2024 at his home. Born September 19, 1957 in Vance County, he was the son of the late Mary Louise Matthews Varker and Clarence Thomas “C.T.” Varker. Carl was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Gardens Cemetery by Rev. Ronnie Matthews and Rev. George Williams. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to A.C.T.S. 201 S. William St., Henderson, NC 27536. Carl is survived by two brothers, Patrick Thomas Varker of Raleigh and David Lee Varker of Kittrell; two aunts, Jean Sams of Henderson and Willie Mae Cobb of Wake Forest; one niece Rebekah Lee Varker of Chapel Hill; and one nephew Matthew David Varker of Chapel Hill.
