Carleen Cain Hester

Carleen Cain Hester, age 75, a resident of 3133 Thomas Road, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her home.Born September 12, 1939 in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Addison Cain and Mildred Jernigan Cain.She was a retired customer service representative for PNC Bank, the former Centura Bank.Mrs. Hester was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church and the New Beginnings Sunday School Class.
A memorial service will be held at Island Creek Baptist Church on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:00PM conducted by Rev. Marshall Neathery.A private burial at Elmwood Cemetery will be held by the family prior to the service.
Mrs. Hester is survived by her husband, William Ellis Billy Hester, Sr. of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth Hester Jackson and husband Blake of Henderson; a son, William Ellis Hester, Jr. of Henderson; a brother, John Addison Cain of Monroe, LA; and five grandchildren, Tyler B. Jackson and wife Jennifer, Victoria Jackson, Leah Jackson, Morgan Hester and Alex Hester.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Island Creek Baptist Church. At other times they will be at the home.
