HENDERSON- Caroline Lifsey Edwards, 84, a resident of Henderson, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her home.Born October 28, 1930 in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late William Kee Lifsey and Margaret Lifsey.She retired as cafeteria manager from E.M. Rollins Elementary School.
A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday at Sunset Gardens at 2:00 PM by Rev. Frank Sossamon.
She is survived by her two daughters, Anna E. Parrish of Durham and Linda E. Patterson of the home; two sisters, Betsy L. Barnes of Henderson and Mary L. Lawson of Williamsburg, VA; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Edwards and a brother, William Kee Lifsey, Jr.
The family will receive friends following the service at Sunset Gardens.
