Carolyn Crider Pulley

HENDERSON- Carolyn Sue Crider Pulley, 70, of Edwards Road, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at her home. Born December 10, 1955 in Taylor County, TX, she was the daughter of Joyce Turner Crider and Nelson Eugene Crider of Knightdale and she was the widow of James Edward “Eddie” Pulley, Jr. She graduated from Vaiden Whitley High School in Knightdale and earned a Batchelor of Science degree in business from N.C. Wesleyan College. Carolyn was a system analyst at Maria Parham Hospital. She was also a member of Fuller Chapel Christian Church where funeral services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Tammy Ayscue. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is survived by her son, Leighton Cheshire and wife, Donna; her stepchildren, Roy Baker, James Baker, Lillian Baker and husband, Rogelio, Dewey Baker and wife, Jennifer, and Allan Pulley and wife, Jodi; her sister, Cynthia C. Boulus; and her brother, Joseph N. Crider; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Lida Arresenault.

The family will receive friends following the service at Fuller Chapel Christian Church on Sunday.
