Carrie Mosley

Carrie Lee Roberson Mosley, age 81, a resident 387 Old Warrenton Road, died Friday February 7, 2020. Born in Vance County on November 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Maude Roberson Roberson and Clem Roberson. Carrie was retired from the Vance County School System where she worked for over 30 years and was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2pm at Cokesbury United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Tracy Sexton.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Mosley and Ray Mosley both of Henderson; one daughter, Brenda M. Paulson of Henderson; two sisters, Pauline R. Hedgepeth of Kittrell and Jerri R. Clark of Wake Forest; four grandchildren, Scott Paulson, Heather Mosley, Clay Mosley, and Chris Paulson; and one great-grandson, Gavin Sky Paulson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Boyd Mosley Jr.; and one sister Florene Horton.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 7 until 8:30 pm at the J. M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of her son, Keith Mosley 389 Old Warrenton Rd, Henderson, NC, 27537.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Chris Paulson, Scott Paulson, Clay Mosley, Ricky Horton, Mike Bostic, and David Horton.
