Chandler Evan Owen, 27, died Saturday, May 1, 2021.Born on November 23, 1993 in Vance County, he was the son of Tonya Rains Strum of Henderson and the late Ronald Ivan Owen.He was employed as a cell tower technician for Branat Construction, Inc. in Apex.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father Glenn Dotson Strum of the home; one son, Camden William Owen of Oxford; one sister, Chesley Owen Reisch (Michael) of Denver, Colorado; one step-brother, Brandon Strum (Jessica) of Henderson; his maternal grandparents, Betty Trimble of Scottsboro, Alabama, Bobby and Nancy Rains of Calabash; and his step-grandfather, Coen Strum of Henderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camden William Owen Educational Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, PO Box 179, Henderson, NC27536.
