HENDERSON- Charles Mason Barnett, age 88, a resident of 221 Crestwood Rd, Henderson, died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home.Born in Chesterfield, Virginia on June 23, 1928, he was the son of the late Frank Barnett and Otey Davis Barnett.Mr. Barnett graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy.He was the co-owner and pharmacist at the former Woolards Drug Store and a member of First Baptist Church Henderson.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of J.M. White Funeral Home by Dr. Marion Lark and Rev. David Barnett.
Mr. Barnett is survived by a son, Neil Barnett and wife, Staci of Henderson; his granddaughter, Shanin Barnett; and his grandson, Alex Barnett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Faulkner Barnett; a son, Charles Martin Barnett; and three brothers, Jimmie Barnett, Leonard Barnett and Frank Barnett.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at J.M. White Funeral Home from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM.
